Dundas Museum & Archives Garden Project

You can support the Dundas Horticultural Society's collaboration with the Dundas Museum & Archives Gardens (DMA) to develop new gardens, and maintain the existing ones.

How to Donate

Donate to the DMA directly through Canada Helps to be eligible for a tax receipt. ​

Suggested donation amounts:​​

  • ​$25 will help buy two small plants​

  • $50 will help buy two medium plants​

  • $75 will help buy one large plant​

  • $100 will help buy one small shrub​

  • $150 will buy mulch and soil​

  • $200 will help buy one small tree

This peony, on the DMA grounds, is believed to be from the Keagey estate, now site of the Parkside Cemetery, formerly the Parkside High School. James W. Keagey was an architect and renowned peony breeder.

It is believed that these flowers were saved by the Lennard family of Dundas from samples brought to their family cottage many decades ago. The Lennards generously donated the plants for the grounds after the Museum’s renovations in 2013.
