Our
Impact
The DHS is dedicated to supporting community volunteer involvement here in Dundas, through public garden projects led by the DHS and other local organizations.

Our gardening volunteers are both keen and knowledgeable . Most months of the year we host expert speakers whose talks increase members understanding of and appreciation for horticulture.
The gardens at Dundas Museum and Archives are looking great thanks to the work of our Weedy Wednesday volunteers.
So far in 2026, we have had three Master Gardeners speak at monthly events on gardening with plants native to Ontario and how to support pollinators.
